26 confirmed cases of measles after guests visit Disneyland and/or Disney's California Adventure.

UPDATE: The total number of cases has risen to 26. Here is the last news report. http://sacramento.cbslocal.com/2015/01/12/measles-cases-tied-to-disney-theme-parks-grow-to-26/

I was just alerted to this breaking news story by my sister in California. They are confirming that 9 people that recently visited Disneyland and/or Disney's California Adventure in California have contracted the measles. Considering how many international travelers visit the parks each year, I am not surprised.

The guests visited one or both parks from December 15-20th, 2014.
"People can be infectious with measles for nine days. Measles typically begins with fever, cough, runny nose and red eyes and within a few days a red rash appears, usually first on the face and then spreads downward to the rest of the body. Measles is a highly infectious, airborne disease."
